Prairie St. John’s provides inpatient, Partial Hospitalization (PHP or day treatment), and Intensive Outpatient to adults, ages 18 and older experiencing a behavioral health crisis or substance use challenges.

Today, substance use disorders are recognized as life-threatening diseases and Prairie St. John’s philosophy regards them as treatable medical illnesses. Emphasis is placed on learning relapse prevention skills. Discharge meetings are held with family and, if appropriate, employers to strengthen patients on their road to recovery.
