Gerard has been involved in the treatment of Mental Illness and Chemical Dependency since 1989. He takes a patient-centered approach to therapy and has expertise in 12-step Recovery and Spirituality. Gerard is a Mental Health Advocate for Psychosocial Rehabilitation and a Drug and Alcohol Intervention Team Member for Lost and Found Ministry. He is the recipient of the 1993 Professional Service Award from the Mental Health Association of the Red River Valley and has been recognized by his co-workers for the 2004 Allied Health Professional Award. Gerard enjoys music, movies, reading and ambitious projects around the house.
