Dr. Akgul’s decision to become a Psychiatrist was influenced by a very old family tradition of helping all people. His early medical experiences helped him realize he wanted the opportunity to interact with and know his patients. “I am committed to developing practical multidisciplinary approaches to improving the quality and delivery of health care to my patients. Whenever possible, my aim is to educate my patients not only about Mental Health care but also about basic health topics.”
Away from work, Dr. Akgul enjoys time with family and friends, running, photography, writing and reading.
